Waste from both kennels and cattery is processed by a worm farm septic system which disposes of all solid and liquid waste. The residual water and worm castings are then directed back into the grassed areas. Rainwater from the roof of the kennel and cattery building is stored in large tanks and utilised in both the kenneland garden.The concrete floors and walls have been treated with Medi-Vet Antimicrobial Concrete Densifier, which seals the concrete to prevent ingress of urine and chemicals and eradicate mould, microbes, deep seated disease, acids, oils and body fats. All pens are disinfected daily. Our boarding facility meets and exceeds all of the requirements set down by the Code of Practice for the Operation of Boarding Establishments and the Domestic (Feral and Nuisance) Animal Act.
